| Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment? |
| A: We appreciate atleast 24 - 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment with us. We understand that unforeseen circumstances do arrive and we will do our best to accomodate you at another time. We have a waiting list and 24 -48 hours notice allows us time to contact those clients and let them know of the availability. After 3 missed appointments we cannot let our customers make appointments ahead of time. Instead we will work on a call basis. |
| Q: For bridal events, do you work separately, or as a team? |
| A: That usually depends on how many people are having services at the same time. Generally, we work as a team when 4 or more people are having services at the same time or at the request of the client. |
| Q: What type of payments do you accept? |
| A: We accept cash, personal check or paypal payments at this time. There is a $30.00 return check fee. Paypal payments will show up as jinellemarie @ hotmail.com on your statement, not True Beauty Salon. |
| Q: What type of deposit is required? |
| A: For bridal parties there is a 20% deposit due at the time of reserving the date. The deposit will be used as credit at the time service is rendered. |
| Q: Where are you located? |
A: Our new salon is opening at 51 Naugatuck Avenue, Milford, CT

| Q: Is it illegal to do hair outside of the salon? |
| A: It is perfectly legal in Connecticut for a licensed cosmetologist to perform salon services outside of the salon as long as taxes are paid on any income made. It is illegal for a cosmetologist to perform services inside of their own home, acting as a place of business without a business license and permission from the health department. |
| Q: Are there any additional fees I should be aware of? |
| A: We charge a small traveling fee for any location 20 miles outside of our location of Milford, CT. There is a $20.00 fee if we have to travel for an initial consultation where no services will be rendered. There is never a charge for phone or in salon consultations. There may be an additional charge for especially long or thick hair, you will be notified beforehand if that is the case. We promise you will never have any unexpected charges at the end of your service. |
